HISTORY
Assembled by the Dominators, this one-time Alliance intended to rid Earth of its superpowered beings, a potential threat to the rest of the galaxy. Acting as coordinators, the Dominators enlisted the forces of the Citadel (acting as war leaders), Okaaran Warlords (weaponsmiths), Khunds (land-based troops), Thanagarians (air-based troops), Gil'Dishpan (underwater troops), Durlans (spies), Psions (genetic engineers), and Daxamites (observers). Freelance agents such as the Spider-Guild also did their bidding.
The Invasion! was merciless as alien troops took control over large parts of Earth, including Australia. Around the globe, Earth's superheroes battled the invaders. The tides turned when the Daxamites realized that they had superpower potential themselves, and turned against their allies.
In a last desperate strike, the Dominators dropped an experimental "meta-gene bomb", incapacitating all metahumans on Earth. A task force of heroes was sent to the Dominion homeworld and, with help from the Omega Men and the Blasters, found an antidote. After Earth's heroes were cured, the Alliance accepted defeat and withdrew their forces from Earth.
