HISTORY

In preparation for war against Apokolips, the Guardians of the Universe expanded the membership of the Green Lantern Corps to thirty-six hundred strong. Hailing from Tamaran in the Vegan system, Alisand'r now found herself on Oa for training by Raker Qarrigat of Wolsoon. A representative from each sector of the known universe filled the Green Lantern Corps. Green Lanterns such as B'Shi of Suirpalam and Ash-Pak-Glif of the fragmentary debris that was once Perreseen would lay down their lives in order to bring justice to the stars.

Raker Qarrigat himself led the invasion of Apokolips, an attack meant to be a surprise. Instead, they found the forces of Apokolips were ready for them. Hordes of Parademons wearing yellow armor designed to exploit the power ring's weakness had been waiting for their arrival. Fully two-thirds of the Green Lantern Corps had been defeated by the time Alisand'r was captured. In an act of defiance she spat into the face of the Lord of Apokolips. Darkseid broke her neck without remorse.

Ultimately, the Guardians of the Universe themselves were forced to travel to Apokolips and offer a truce. The surviving members of the Green Lantern Corps were withdrawn from Apokolips. Under the terms of the truce only Raker Qarrigat remained, a prisoner of Darkseid. By the Guardians' decree, the events of the day were expunged from the Great Book of Oa. - Green Lantern 80-Page Giant #3

Alisand'r was memorialized in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa.

BLACK LANTERN: ALISAND'R

During the event known as the Blackest Night, black rings desecrated the Crypts. The ring placed itself upon Alisand'r's corpse, downloaded all of her memories and created a duplicate of her body that rose from the grave as a member of the Black Lantern Corps. - Blackest Night #1

POWERS AND WEAPONS

As a Green Lantern, Alisand'r possessed a power ring and power battery.
