HISTORY

The Central Power Battery of the Blue Lantern Corps is located atop a series of waterfalls on the planet Odym. Presumably, it performs the same functions as the Green Lantern Corps Central Power Battery on Oa transmitting energy to the smaller B Blue Lantern power batteries from which the Lantern would recharge a power ring.

Whereas the Blue Lantern power rings will charge a Green Lantern power ring to maximum capacity of 210.5%, the blue Central Power Battery will overload the emerald ring causing it to implode. It has yet to be seen what effect, if any, the blue battery will have on other power rings. -GREEN LANTERN 4th series #

The Blue Central Power Battery was under siege from the Orange Lantern Corps. Controlled by Larfleeze, the Orange Lanterns seized the battery, tearing it from its foundations. The rise of the Black Lanterns has diverted the attention of Larfleeze now as the various corps have united to combat Nekron. GREEN LANTERN 4th series # Blackest Night #3
