HISTORY
Flayt is a Tristram power-ray, a massive creature resembling an Earth manta-ray, but more comparable in size to a whale. During the Tristram-Zanner Imperial War, Flayt left hundreds of ships stranded without energy or life by latching onto their sides and draining their power. It is not known if Flayt came into conflict with the Green Lantern of Sector 2751, M'Dahna.

Flayt was present on Qward when Kyle Rayner was abducted and stripped of the Ion entity. Flayt was later with the Sinestro Corps high above Earth’s atmosphere, fighting the Green Lantern Corps. Flayt was seen battling the equally huge Green Lantern Sqweeegg. -Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Special #1
Flayt was most recently part of an ambush upon the Green Lantern Corps. A number of Green Lanterns were bringing Sinestro back to his homeworld of Korugar for execution. The Sinestro Corps attempted to free their leader, but was attacked in turn by the Red Lantern Corps who wanted to kill Sinestro themselves. As a member of the Sinestro Corps, Flayt possesses a yellow power ring and power battery.
