HISTORY
Working on Takron-Galtos as a guard, G’hu was caught in a prison riot and used as a hostage by the inmates to negotiate their release. G’hu was able to sudue his captors before his fellow guards were able to free him.

At some point he was inducted into the Green Lantern Corps, and was one of eight Green Lanterns gathered by Lantern Administrator Salakk to prevent Honor Lantern Guy Gardner from disturbing the Guardians of the Universe. Gardner argued he was long overdue for shore leave and demanded to have an audience with the Guardians. Despite their superior numbers, the eight Lanterns were no match for Gardner, who was finally calmed down by Green Lantern Kilowog. Disappointed by their performance, Salakk ordered Arx, G’hu, Krydel-4 and Vandor to combat reorientation. - Green Lantern Corps Vol. 2 #1
Despite this, Salakk recognizes G’hu is a worthy addition to the Green Lantern Corps. The warden of the Oan sciencells, Green Lantern Voz, is attempting to recruit G’hu as head guard. - Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps Secret Files #1
It is believed G’hu fought in and survived the Sinestro Corps War. His current activities have yet to be recorded.
