HISTORY
Glomulus was a cleaner slug from the pits of Poppo in Sector 2826. He was brought to work in a tavern on the planet Okaara in Sector 2828. Life appeared to be good for Glomulus, as he did not want for much except for anything he could eat. Anything that fell on the floor was his.
When two Okaaran Warlords became unruly and threatened to eat Glomulus, the tavern owner defended the cleaner slug and blood was drawn. Glomulus enjoyed the taste. Presumably no one in the tavern survived.
Walking in the forest of weeds near the tavern, Glomulus inadvertantly stumbled into an area claimed by Larfleeze, and the owner of the orange lantern claimed Glomulus. The cleaner slug was devoured by the Orange Lantern Blume. His identity was stolen and replicated as one of the Orange Lantern Corps. - Green Lantern Vol. 4 #40
Glomulus appears to be a favorite construct of Larfleeze, as he appears almost every time his master constructs the Orange Lantern Corps.
An orange energy construct of Glomulus was among the Orange Lantern Corps that attacked the planet Odym in an attempt to steal the Central Power Batterry of the Blue Lantern Corps.

During the event known as the Blackest Night, black rings descended on Okaara, Glomulus returned as one of the Black Lantern Corps. Intent on destroying Larfleeze's orange Central Power Battery, the Black Lanterns were held at bay by Red Lantern Atrocitus and Blue Lantern Saint Walker.
