HISTORY


On one of the infinite Earths of the Pre-Crisis Multiverse, super-heroes were created by government experimentation. The first hero was Overman, that Earth's variant of Superman.

Green Lantern was one of the modified clones created from Overman's cell scrapings. This Earth's versions of Green Lantern, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Flash banded together in a league of heroes attached to the military.

When Overman contracted a virus that affected his brain, his powers corrupted him. Driven mad, he destroyed entire cities. The heroes were no match for him. Green Lantern was killed by a blast of Overman's heat vision. - Animal Man #23

POWERS AND WEAPONS


The Green Lantern wore a power ring, but its capabilities are unknown. As he was a modified clone, it is not known if he possessed any powers, if the ring was technological or organic in nature.
