HISTORY


Covered by a primarily methane atmosphere called “the Great Mother Ocean” by its intelligent lizard/fish-like natives, Hykraius is a planet rarely visited by off-worlders. Hykraians possess telekinetic and telepathic powers and few left their homeworld due to their specific environmental requirements. Wielding a power ring, the Green Lantern of Hykraius could create a protective atmosphere and enable him/herself to exist in space or on other worlds. Despite these remarkable powers and abilities, the Green Lantern of Hykraius was one of thirty-two members of the Corps killed in battle defending Oa and the universe from the rampaging Superboy-Prime.
