HISTORY

For the majority of Green Lanterns, their service ends in death. In some cases, a Green Lantern may serve long enough to actually retire from the Corps. When Kwo Varrikk ended his 200 years of service, a new Lantern was selected. On the steps to the Central Power Battery on Oa, the new Green Lantern of Sector 24 received his power ring from Kwo Varrikk in a short ceremony attended by the Guardians of the Universe and members of the Corps.
