HISTORY
Despite his outward slovenly appearance, Greet is one of the most respected culinary masters in the universe. He is currently serving as manager of Oa’s cafeteria, though when and how he went from ring slinger to hash slinger is a story yet untold. As the majority of his time is spent on Oa, Greet has made numerous requests to bring his family to Oa so he can spend more time with them. It is not known how Greet’s partner feels about protecting sector 3443 with Greet stationed on Oa.
Greet attempts to duplicate the foods from the homeworlds of literally thousands of alien cultures. He has had varying degrees of success with Earth foods. According to Guy Gardner, "They can’t figure out bread, and their beer’s for crap, but they got a decent steak."
The cafeteria saw the first effects of the war with the Sinestro Corps as Kyle Rayner was abducted right from the hall. Minutes later, a Sinestro Corps strike force attacked. Greet’s adventures during the war have yet to be told.
Recently, Honor Lanterns Gardner and Rayner have opened a restaurant on Oa serving Earth food and beverages. The restaurant is currently off-limits to rookies. Greet’s opinion, if any, regarding this turn of events has yet to be recorded.

As a Green Lantern, Greet possesses a power ring and power battery.
