HISTORY

The appointed leader of the Indigo Tribe, the woman now known as Indigo-1 had met Green Lantern Abin Sur of Ungara some years ago in his quest to prevent the Blackest Night. The meeting with Abin Sur appears to have had a profound effect on her life as she shed her individuality including her very name and all but the barest of neccessities to follow the indigo light of compassion.

Leading the Indigo Tribe in sector 3544, Indigo-1 ended the life of the wounded Green Lantern Sarolis and used the yellow energy to scare away the Sinestro Corps soldier of that sector.

Some time later, she and Munk of the Indigo Tribe went to Earth to retrieve Green Lantern Hal Jordan and assemble the wielders of the other lights in the emotional spectrum to combat the fall of the Blackest Night.

They were forced to abandon Zamaron after the Black Lantern Corps destroyed the Star Sapphire Central Power Battery but left with Carol Ferris and Sinestro.

After Sinestro reclaimed his Corps and his homeworld Korugar from Mongul II, they leapt to Okaara and gathered Atrocitus, Larfleeze, and Saint Walker to search for the Black Lantern Central Power Battery on Ryut.

They had arrived too late, as Nekron was on Earth with the battery. Though they were able to destroy the Guardian known as Scar, their attack on the black battery had unexpected results; Nekron grew stronger and turned eight ressurrected heroes into Black Lanterns as well.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

As an Indigo Tribesman, Indigo-1 possesses an indigo power ring and power staff.
