Ion is the willpower entity which fuels the
power rings of the
Green Lantern Corps.
HISTORY
Following the development of life, the first sentient creature to develop willpower became Ion. Billions of years later, the
Guardians of the Universe would harness willpower as a power source, ultimately fueling the
power rings of the
Green Lantern Corps.
