HISTORY

Tomar-Re had described Leezle Pon to Arisia as a super intelligent smallpox virus, which, understandably, did not participate in meetings of the Green Lantern Corps.

Leezle Pon was the sector partner of Reemuz, and was distraught over his fellow Lantern’s death. He sought out the killer of Reemuz, the sentient biovirus Despotellis. The Sinestro Corps biovirus was finally located in a host, Honor Lantern Guy Gardner of Earth. Injected into Guy Gardner’s bloodstream by Lantern Soranik Natu, Leezle Pon fought off the infection and emerged victorious; however the current status of Despotellis has yet to be documented.
