HISTORY
Malia had just been chosen as a soldier in the Sinestro Corps when she and other new corpsmen were called by Sinestro to defend Korugar in Sector 1417. Malia, Narok, Meershom and a fourth corpsman were en route when they were attacked by Black Lantern Harbinger. They thought they could ambush their pursuer in Sector 2828, but the Black Lantern could sense them. Narok was slain and his ring went to Vril Dox II. Even Dox and his small group of R.E.B.E.L.S. could not withstand the Black Lanterns for long. Above the planet Kandato, Black Lanterns Harbinger and Stealth attacked, and Meershom was killed by Harbinger, becoming a Black Lantern as well. - R.E.B.E.L.S. #10- #11

It is not known which Black Lantern killed Malia, but she was last seen as a Black Lantern herself. Malia and her fellow Black Lanterns were sent through a transmat portal to Maltus, headquarters of the L.E.G.I.O.N., under the command of Starro. - R.E.B.E.L.S. #11

As a member of the Sinestro Corps, Malia possessed a yellow power ring and power battery.
