HISTORY
One of the few married couples in the history of the Green Lantern Corps, Matoo Pree and his wife Amnee Pree were inducted into the Corps on their wedding day. Amnee is currently expecting a child, but despite her condition still serves as one of her sector's Green Lanterns.
The pair was part of a contingent of Green Lanterns sent to Qward after the defeat of the Sinestro Corps. While most were sent to neutralize opposition on Qward, Green Lantern Graf Toren of Karax ordered the pair to guard the Sinestro Corps member Lyssa Drak. The manipulative keeper of the Book of Parallax knew them, and told the story of the Sinestro Corps member known as Kryb. In the story, Kryb had slain Sector 55 Green Lantern Jeryll of Glirell, Jeryll's lifemate, Tywene and taken their infant daughter, Sarikyn. Lyssa Drak prophesized Kryb would come for the Matoo offspring on the day their child was born. Though his wife did not want to admit it, the story rattled her. Matoo Pree warned Lyssa Drak he was still authorized to use lethal force if necessary. The Green Lanterns took Lyssa Drak to Oa, to be contained in a Sciencell.
Amnee Pree and Matoo Pree joined with Sector 181 Green Lantern KT21, also a parent, in the hunt for Kryb. Lanterns Soranik Natu and Kyle Rayner also joined in the hunt which went bad. Lantern KT21 was killed by Kryb before the Sinestro Corps soldier was taken away by Star Sapphire Miri Riam.
Following the birth of their child, and the Guardians' edict regarding relationships betwen Green Lanterns, Amnee and Matoo resigned their commissions.
