OVERVIEW


The planet Mercury is 0.39 AU from the sun, with a sidereal revolution of 88 days and a rotation period ("day") of 58.7 days. It has no atmospheric protection from solar radiation. The planet is named for the Roman god of speed, Mercury.

HISTORY


By the 853rd Century, Mercury was home of the data foundries, repositories of information protected by John Fox, the Flash. Fox had explored the time stream after his adventures with Wally West, the third Flash of the 20th Century, ending up in the year 85,265. Eventually he joined the Justice Legion.
