HISTORY

Newlyweds Miri and Kered were on their honeymoon when tragedy struck. Mongul II intercepted their starcraft, tearing it apart to replenish himself with their foodstores. Trying to intervene, Kered was killed when Mongul casually cracked his helmet, exposing Kered to the vacuum of space before leaving with not a word to the grieving widow. A power ring of the Star Sapphires heard Miri Riam's anguish, and offered her solace, but for her to join their cause.
