HISTORY
A member of the Green Lantern Corps whose ring was presumably disintegrated on Oa during the collapse of the Main Power Battery, the Green Lantern Pelle spoke out against the Khund/Dominion plan for invading Earth as the Alien Alliance.
Concerned the opinions of the ex-Green Lanterns might influence other worlds to defend Earth, the Dominion set plans in motion to eliminate the agitators.
Fearing the Dominion and the Khunds, the people of Purdaa did not want to be seen as aiding Earth, and alerted the Khunds of their Green Lantern's actions. She was tracked down and eliminated by the Khunds. - Invasion! #1

During the event known as the Blackest Night, black rings desecrated the Crypts. The ring placed itself upon Pelle's remains, downloaded all of her memories and created a duplicate of her body that rose from the grave as a member of the Black Lantern Corps. - Blackest Night #1
