HISTORY

The power gauntlet was created by Krona and thus far has only been seen in usage once. Krona was able to neutralize three Manhunters in a blast of emerald energy. The power gauntlet was later turned over to the Guardians of the Universe and it is presumed the device was used to develop the first of the Green Lantern power rings as it has been called the "Ring of the First Green Lantern."

The Gauntlet has been stored in the Foundry deep beneath the Central Power Battery on Oa. It has been protected by a creature named Shedd, "loyal servant of the Green Lantern Corps. - Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors #9

SPECIFICATIONS

The power gauntlet was fueled by a backpack unit attached to the gauntlet by a cable.
