HISTORY


Wielded by Atrocitus the Red Lantern power battery was first used to bludgeon Qull of the Five Inversions, giving Atrocitus the blood sacrifice he needed to forge the power rings and Central Power Battery of the Red Lantern Corps.

It is not known if there are other Red Lantern power batteries, save for the Central Power Battery on Ysmault.

Recently, the rage entiry known as the Butcher has been imprisoned within the red battery by the Spectre and Atrocitus. The leader of the Red Lantern Corps is seeking to protect the entity from capture by the renegade Guardian Krona. - Green Lantern Vol. 4 #61
