HISTORY

The Sinestro Corps power batteries were created on Qward and are used to recharge the yellow power rings. Qwardian slaves, including the Weaponers of Qward mined the ore and built the batteries and power rings on an assembly line overseen by Arkillo.

The power batteries draw energy from the Central Power Battery which in turn is fed to the power rings. Similar to the Green Lantern power batteries the yellow batteries cn be placed in a pocket dimension until needed for recharging.

Alternately, members of the Sinestro Corps were able to charge their power rings on the Manhunters.

GLCWP NOTE

A different design of the Sinestro Corps power battery was created by Ethan Van Sciver, but it has only been seen with the Sinestro action figure from Mattel's DC UNIVERSE series.
