HISTORY

During the Sinestro Corps the ring wielder assigned to Space Sector 465 went to the planet Havania and abducted Bleez after killing her mother. The Sinestro Corps were using those they captured for torture or pleasure on the sentient city Ranx. The Corps soldier of Sector 465 took particular interest in Bleez, and crushed her wings in an act of malice.

When the Green Lantern Corps attacked, Bleez tried to escape, even though it was to her death. The Sinestro Corps soldier would have none of it, and "rescued" her from the vaccuum of space. It was only moments later that her rage drew the power ring of the Red Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps soldier met his fate. Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps #2
