HISTORY
Little is known about Starkaðr, the Green Lantern of Space Sector 2814. How he received his power ring and if he is a direct successor to Green Lantern Waverly Sayre of Earth has yet to be established.
Starkaor defended the world of Ungara from an invading armada led by Devlos Ungol, better known as Traitor. His ability to face Traitor one-on-one frightened the villain's minions and they abandoned their plans of conquest. Starkaðr had badly damaged Traitor and was able to drive him off, but in the course of battle the Green Lantern had been mortally wounded. In his final act as Green Lantern, Starkaðr passed his power ring to native Ungaran Abin Sur, a philosopher, teacher and historian.

Starkaðr was memorialized in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa.
