HISTORY


The Green Lantern of Space Sector 786, Turytt received the power ring after the loss of his predecessor, Ke'Haan of Varva. Ke'Haan and a number of other Green Lanterns were lost in a battle against the Parallax-corrupted Hal Jordan. One of Turytt's first duties was to notify Ke'Haan's family that he was left to die by Hal Jordan. Turytt swore to them that he would take out the person responsible.

Turytt caught up to Jordan on Oa. He instigated a fight which soon involved over a dozen experienced and rookie Green Lanterns including Jordan, Guy Gardner, and Horoq Nnot of Sector 885. The fight was broken up by Green Lantern Kilowog and those involved were given seventy demerits by Green Lantern Salakk.


Hal Jordan and Gardner later disobeyed the orders of the Guardians of the Universe and mounted a Search and Rescue mission to the Manhunter homeworld of Biot in Space Sector 3601. Though they freed Ke'Haan and the other Green Lanterns Jordan had fought as Parallax, as well as numerous other Green Lanterns, many still distrust Hal Jordan.
