HISTORY
On Earth, there is the tradition of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to symbolically honor the many soldiers that have died in war without their remains being identified. Since the Green Lantern Corps has been serving the oft-times near omniscient Guardians of the Universe, it would seem highly unlikely a Lantern would go unidentified.
Within the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa a being known as the Unknown Lantern is memorialized. The Unknown Lantern is a non-humanoid, whose space sector has not been documented.
