HISTORY

When a faulty warp drive in their starship forced them planetside, the Vasha, a Sychian, and her two Khund associates were stranded off the shores of the former site of Coast City, California. The criminal trio sought to return to the stars and attempted to steal an experimental warp drive from Gateway City's Dyna Tech corporation. They were foiled by Gateway's protector, Wonder Woman, and went into hiding.

Weeks later, the criminals believed they could stage another theft unopposed as it appeared Green Lantern Kyle Rayner had slain Wonder Woman in a battle reported by Gateway City's media. Once Vasha and the Khunds resurfaced, both Wonder Woman and Green Lantern were ready to face them. At Wonder Woman's request, she and Green Lantern had staged a fight designed to lull Vasha and her cohorts into a false sense of security.

Wonder Woman battled the Khunds while Green Lantern fought Vasha. When the fight turned against her, Vasha activated the warp drive, choosing her death and the death of her foes, rather than imprisonment. The warp energy folded in on itself, threatening to lay waste to the surrounding area but it was ultimately contained by Rayner.

Vasha and her Khund associates were taken by Wonder Woman to the Slabside prison facility. They have not been heard from since. - Green Lantern Vol. 3 #73
