HISTORY
The female half of the mentally gifted Oan race, the Zamarons, warlike and active, grew tired of their menfolk's obsession with expanding their minds and founding an order that would lead to galactic order. They took themselves off to the planet Zamaron, where they were ruled by a succession of women known as Star Sapphire, at least two of whom have, oddly, hailed from Earth. Later, they and their men, the Guardians of the Universe, departed for another dimension to raise the next generation of near-immortals. Their activities since the death of the Guardians are undocumented.
