HISTORY

A native of Xudar, Zuraldo was an infamous criminal in his planet’s history. At some point the ruthless Zuraldo was apprehended and sentenced to confinement on the Guardians’ prison planet, an isolated world where each villain was confined to a different time era.

When the time barriers were shattered by an explosion of mini-nucelo energy, the criminals banded together under the leadership of Al Magone of Earth. Using the mini-nucleo energy, they struck against Green Lanterns across the universe, killing many before the Green Lantern Corps was able to defend itself. Members of the Corps traveled to the prison planet to confront the criminals. In Zuraldo’s case, he battled fellow Xudarian, Green Lantern Tomar-Re.

The Lantern’s power ring had lost power due to the proximity of Zuraldo’s mini-nucleo weapon. The Xudarians then used their wings to engage in aerial combat. Tomar-Re took advantage of his wing-span, hitting Zuraldo with his wing tips until the criminal was stunned, finally finishing him off with a knockout punch.

The Green Lantern Corps ultimately overcame the rioting criminals, and it is presumed Zuraldo and his fellow criminals are still confined on the Guardians’ prison planet, They have not been seen since. - Green Lantern Vol. 2 #56
