Synopsis:
Doctor Fate pays a visit to his father, Hawkman, to talk about destiny. The souls of the Hawks are trapped in an endless cycle of death and reincarnation, fated to happen every time they fall in love. Hector is himself now a part of this cycle, but he realizes that as his is new, it means their fate is not unalterable - if Hawkman wishes to change things, this is the lifetime to do so. Meanwhile, Hawkgirl is disturbed by memories of her past and wants to talk to Hawkman, but when she arrives at the museum, a dead yeti comes crashing through the skylight with a photo of Speed Saunders attached - the Hawks must head to the Himalayas to rescue him.
