Comment(s):
- Coaltown is based on the real-life story of the Centralia mine fire, which has been burning since 1962. Though Superman was able to end the fire in the coal seam by creating a firebreak as done with forest fires, the Centralia mine fire could burn for an additional 250 years.
Solicitation:
- Professor Potter invents a helmet that may enable Superman's heat vision to warm the world. The problem is that when Superman takes the helmet off, he can't shut off his heat vision!
