Synopsis: - Kid Scout finds Ben Conrad and brings him to Heroville, where, faced with what his supposedly fictional Hollow Men have done, sucking all the inspiration and color out of the town, he sets to writing a new final chapter of his book where the Hollow Men do not win, but instead destroy one another. Meanwhile, Superman must face the Hollow Men, as they attempt to rob him of his hope and desires, breaking free of them through his love of Lois. When Conrad reaches the end of his chapter, his Hollow Men are destroyed, and all of their victims are restored to life and color.
