Synopsis: - Superman wants to know why Replikon died, and sets out to investigate this as his heroic self and as reporter Clark Kent. He has a confrontation with fellow reporter Geraldine Frank who makes it clear that she thinks his assignment to the Special Crimes Unit marks the end of his formerly glittering career as a reporter. In space, he and Green Lantern discover that Replikon's daughter has been killed, and there is no sign of his son. Meanwhile, Lois prepares to leave for Umec, and asks Wonder Woman to make sure her husband takes care of himself while she's gone.
