HISTORY

Agua Sin Gaaz was a Jamaican crime baron and master of voudou. He was also the grandfather of Anita Fite a.k.a. Empress of Young Justice.

When Anita was still a child, her father Donald worked for the U.S. Justice department and single-handedly busted Sin Gaaz' organisation. In revenge, Sin Gaaz attempted to kill Donald, but accidentally took the life of Oshi, his own daughter, instead.

Years later, Sin Gaaz took refuge in the "super-villain nation" of Zandia, where he specialised in illegally siphoning body parts from all over the world, then growing new creatures using a mix of magic and science. Donald Fite and his partner Ishido Maad attempted to put a stop to the activities, but were discovered, and Fite was killed by the Baron.

The vengeful Empress persuaded her Young Justice teammates and an army of teen heroes to invade Zandia and battle the minions of Sin Gaaz. When finally standing face to face with her parents' killer, Empress could not bring herself to kill him. However, the retired heroine named Miss Arrowette did that for her.

Empress later learned that her parents had been re-born in two infant clones created by the Baron. She currently takes care of them and raises them as her own children.
