HISTORY

Rick Purvis of the Star Rovers was solar sail boating when he had to skim the desert moon of Akka. His sail had been torn and he required metal to patch it. Though mostly sand and rock lay below him, he came across a metallic object he could melt down. Little did he know this was a Riffian secret weapon intended to be used on the unsuspecting Earth. The aliens fired on him, but Purvis was able to outsmart them and use the metal to make his escape. Only later would he learn he had saved the Earth from being hurled into a "no-time continuum" by the Riffian weapon.
