OVERVIEW

The outlaw organization called Altered Strain was formed after the Alien Alliance invasion of Earth. Clad in green uniforms, its members are carriers of the metagene who have not yet manifested any powers. They see themselves as natural leaders and want the government to find a way to activate their latent abilities. The Flash (Wally West) captured one member of Altered Strain in San Francisco. After another of their members was killed in a clash with Wonder Woman and the White Magician, others from the group staged a protest outside the Themysciran embassy.
