HISTORY

Doctor Benjamin Stoner was a head doctor at Arkham Asylum who was chosen by the Lord of Chaos named Typhon to act as a soldier of Chaos. Possessed by Typhon, Stoner became the Anti-Fate and was manipulated into battling the second Dr. Fate (Eric and Linda Strauss) on several occasions. Later empowered by both Order and Chaos, Anti-Fate was set to destroy Fate and Nabu who were at the time considered a threat to both groups. After several battles, Anti-Fate actually killed Linda and Nabu. However, they were both reincarnated in the bodies of mortals.
