HISTORY

A living star who was inherently evil and banished from "the Council of Stars". Stealing the Cosmic Rod of Starman (I), Aquarius set out to destroy Earth, but was defeated by a collaboration of the Justice Society of America and the Justice League of America. However, the villain killed Larry Lance – husband of the first Black Canary and father of the second – with a cosmic blast intended for his wife. Years later, it was revealed that the radiation of the blast had given the elder Black Canary cancer, and she died from in quite recent times.
