HISTORY
Randall Burroughs a.k.a. Atom'X was a super-powered teen from the planet Xanthu in the 31st century. With his nuclear powers, he fought alongside Xanthu's own superteam, the Uncanny Amazers. During a team-up with the Legion of Super-Heroes, the Work Force, and other heroes, the Amazers fought against the wizard Mordru. Atom'X was tragically killed in the battle. However, his energy form survived and merged with the energy of a fallen comrade, Blast-Off of the Work Force. The new energy creature called itself 'Drake Burroughs', combining their two names. Binding their energy inside a humanoid-looking suit, the being eventually joined the Legion as Wildfire.
