HISTORY

Batarang X was a giant batarang which was launched from a catapult mechanism on a version of the Batmobile. Claiming it was "dangerous" Batman and Robin kept it a secret, locked away in the Batcave. It was used to foil the plans of mobster Jay Garris, who had copied the design of the batarangs to use for crimes. The Batarang X soundlessly carried Batman to an off-shore island where the criminals were hiding, returning to shore after dropping off the Caped Crusader. After the mobsters were caught, Batman and Robin returned Batarang X to the Batcave.

-Detective Comics #244

SPECIFICATIONS

The Batarang X was quite simply a much larger version of a standard batarang and had no other remarkable qualities.
