- Chronological placement of this story is difficult. Batgirl, Batman and James Gordon appear here soon after Barbara's first case against Killer Moth (as shown in the Batgirl: Year One mini-series), but placement against those stories are difficult as she is shown here as more competent than seen in the mini-series. James Gordon is shown to be a captain in those stories, but as Commissioner here.
