Synopsis: - Now back in Gotham, Bruce Wayne finds out a little more about Benedict Asp, even as Asp tries to use Shondra to kill him from afar. Luckily, as Sire Hemmingford Gray is the intended target, Bruce is merely weakened by the attack - he survives, but must get to a hospital. Here, when he expresses his intention to continue the hunt for Shondra and Asp, endangering his health yet further, Alfred is disgusted, leaving his employ, and stopping off at Wayne Manor just long enough to ask the new Batman to look out for the old. Bruce deliberately calls attention to Sir Hemmingford Gray's presence in Gotham City, so Asp sends men after him. He is kidnapped from his boat, which was his intention, with the new Batman totally fooled by a decoy.
