The only one of Oracle's contacts in the area is Huntress, who beats off a gang of people determined to kill the hero and gets him into the Batmobile, which Oracle is operating via remote control. He is just about able to get out the message that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, now a renowned surgeon, should be brought in to help him, and before long, the doctor is convinced that Bruce Wayne is out of the woods.
