Synopsis: - Several different groups of criminals are inside Louis E. Grieve High School, and numerous teachers and students are trapped inside with them, including Darla Aquista and Tim Drake, the former Robin. Tim has managed to get a number of them to safety in the nurse's office, but he is relived when Batman, Batgirl and Nightwing arrive via the sewers and are able to clear the gunmen out. Unfortunately, they are too late to save Darla Aquista, and as Batman carries her body from the school, the media swarm over the image, some claiming that he has killed her, while others claim he and his allies made the situation worse, thus hastening her end.
