HISTORY

For many generations, Orsono's ancestors have protected Japan from supernatural menaces using a number of weapons, each of which is now imbued with the spirit of the bushido who wielded it. Upon his mother's death, Ryuku took up the legacy, pursuing the demonic tengu that killed her. His temperament is markedly different to his predecessors, however, and he wishes to continue the fight without killing. After encountering some members of the Titans, he moved to America and worked for a time with Titans LA. When Superboy-Prime attacked Superboy, Bushido was one of many Titans who arrived to help. He perished in the battle, burned in half by Superboy-Prime's heat vision.
