OVERVIEW
A mystery man of the 1930s and 1940s who was based in Chicago.
HISTORY
As the Depression wore on in mid-1930s Chicago, retiring District Attorney Brian O'Brien felt he could still do more to fight crime. Feeling tied by the traditional justice system, O'Brien began to fight a vigilante war on crime as The Clock.
Garbed in a simple blue business suit and cowl, The Clock struck a blow to crime in the big city. Leaving a card (with a simple clockface pointing to 12 o'clock) behind to show who was taking care of the criminal element, The Clock was aided by two others in his mission. One was Pug Brady, who bore a close resemblance to O'Brien and helped him maintain his dual identity on more than one occasion. The other was a feisty, redheaded girl named Butch.
POWERS AND WEAPONS
Though very athletic, The Clock showed no special abilities except for above average hand-to-hand skills, some detective skills and a knowledge of the criminal underworld.
Later in his career, The Clock exchanged his cowl for a domino mask.
