HISTORY
The Cube-Creatures were theorized to have come from a rip in the space-time continuum to conquer Earth. Their first attack in Metropolis, meeting defeat at the hands of Superman and Batman.
A week later, the Cube-creatures returned, abducting Superman from his Fortress of Solitude. They saw the Man of Steel as a threat, but also an opportunity. Their plan was to learn the secret of his powers and create an army of android duplicates. The Cube-Creatures were not aware of Superman's weaknesses, though the green solar radiation of their world stripped him of his invulnerability. Through subterfuge, Superman was able to create a a solar filter which bathed him in yellow solar radiation, restoring his strength. He was able to defeat the Cube-Creatures once more, apparently convincing the would-be conquerors to steer clear of Earth.[1]
POWERS
The Cube-Creatures appear as mechanical lifeforms with a unique nervous system. Pain is shifted from the body to one of their toes. They are able to use their bodiy parts - cubes as weapons and reassemble themselves.
