Synopsis: - Detectives Allen and Montoya begin their investigation into the high-profile death of Vesper Fairchild at Wayne Manor. The victim was shot several times in the back and all the evidence seems to point to Bruce Wayne, making this case the root of a media frenzy.
- They interview Wayne and his bodyguard, Sasha Bordeaux, under the assumption that either they did it together or that Bordeaux is covering for Wayne. However, neither are able to provide an alibi, and neither says much beyond a denial of their involvement. The 911 call that Vesper made shortly before her death doesn't offer many clues, beyond the fact that her killer was male; her on-tape death makes harrowing listening. Both Wayne and Bordeaux are charged with first degree murder.

Synopsis: - Josie's dad tries to dissuade her from continuing the Anotelli case, but she is determined to do so, with or without the support of her colleagues. She has a run-in with Anotelli's lawyer and also with one of his rivals, but to no avail. She then hears news that Anotelli has offered a two million dollar reward for information.
