OVERVIEW
Tom Emery hadn't amounted to much in his life. Until a nosy reporter connected him to the identity of Dr. Spectro, a part of the "big lie" of Captain Atom's super-heroic life. This led to his confrontation with the Captain, and led Wade Eiling to recruit him to be part of the Captain Atom Project, popping up here and there to be beaten by Captain Atom or Major Force in carefully constructed media events to prove how super these super-heroes could be. Unfortunately, after the end of the Captain Atom Project, Tom Emery has reverted to the life of a small time super-crook...
