HISTORY

Dworn was a teenage boy, the last survivor of his doomed homeworld. His world was smaller than Earth and was scientifically advanced, having the ability to turn any object to gold. From "interplanetary television" they learned of Earth's languages and of Superboy. Similar to the Boy of Steel, Dworn's people had the powers of super strength and flight but only on their world. Dworn was sent into space before the distant planet was utterly destroyed.
He arrived on Earth, landing outside of Smallville, soon meeting the local residents, including Superboy. Due to the heavier gravity and greater mass of the Earth, Dworn was a comparative weakling to the average human, though Dworn did not give any outward appearance of the environment's effects on his body, it was apparent when he attempted to lift even light objects.
Dworn took the identity of "Alan Thomas," a pen pal of Clark Kent's. Superboy "arranged" for Dworn to live stay with the Kents as a safeguard against anyone trying to abuse his gold creating abilities. Criminals still were able to kidnap the alien youth.
The criminals and Superboy were surprised to learn the Dworn, when in the vicinity of kryptonite, developed super powers of his own. Back on Dworn's homeworld, their scientists had used a kryptonite meteor to grant super powers to the populace. The criminals were quickly dealt with.
Believing Earth was not big enough for two super powered youths, Dworn decided to find another world, on which he could be a super-hero. Dworn has not been heard of since.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Hailing from a planet smaller than Earth and weaker gravity, Dworn is normally quite weak on Earth. However, due to his people having taken a special tablet, he can develop super powers including strength and flight while he is in the vicinity of green kryptonite.

Dworn also has access to the advanced technology from his doomed homeworld, including a spaceship and a ring mounted device enabling him to turn objects to gold.
