HISTORY

Jared Stevens, an adventurer and procurer of rare artefacts inherited the helm of Nabu after the original Doctor Fate was split in two by Extant. He travelled the world seeking out errant demons and the like, fighting them where necessary with a sword forged from Nabu's helm. After Wesley Dodds's death, Black Canary asked Fate to attend the funeral, an offer he turned down. However, he was attacked by Mordru, the Dark Lord and slain with his own knife - able only to get himself to the funeral and mutter an obscure warning to the attendant heroes.
